Ms. Kendra Smith is a member of the University of Richmond School of Law Class of 2017. She graduated with honors from Hampton University in 2011 with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism.  At Richmond Law, she currently serves as President of the Black Law Students Association, as a Law Student Admissions Representative, and as a member of the Women’s Law Student Association.  Ms. Smith joined Global in order to pursue her interest in international relations.

Mr. Austin Chandler is a member of the University of Richmond's T.C. Williams School of Law and the Robins School of Business. He is pursuing his JD/MBA and will be graduating in 2018. Austin graduated with a B.A. from Furman University in Political Science in 2014. During the summer of 2016 Austin interned for the General Counsel of the Port of Virginia. Austin is a solutions based problem solver who enjoys playing piano, performing the spoken word, and inspiring others through dedication and a positive attitude. Austin joined the Global Business journal to further explore the juncture of business and law and how it applies to the smart growth of cities like Richmond.

Judd Peverall : Associate

Mr. Judson (Judd) Peverall is a member of the University of Richmond School of Law Class of 2018. He is a 2013 cum laude graduate of the College of William and Mary where he completed his bachelors in Philosophy and German with highest honors in the Department of Modern Languages and Literature. At the College of William and Mary, he also published in 2013 his honors thesis concerning the political theory of Hannah Arendt. From 2013 until 2014, he served as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar in Germany. At the University of Richmond School of Law, he functions as the research assistant to Professor Kimberly Robinson, conducting extensive analysis regarding education policy and law. In the summer of 2016, Judd worked as a summer associate with the Richmond civil rights law firm Thorsen, Hart, and Allen. Seeking to pursue a career in civil litigation and policy, Judd joined the Global Law Journal in order to understand how international and foreign law influences modern American courts. Judd is also fluent in German.

Mr. Mark H. Branca is a member of the University of Richmond School of Law’s Class of 2018. He graduated from Ursinus College in 2015 with a B.A. as a double major in Business & Economics and Media & Communications Studies. While a student at Ursinus College, Mark had the opportunity to intern at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. As a law student, Mark interned at the Senate of Virginia for Senate Majority Leader Thomas Norment. During the summer of 2016, Mark interned in the Fredericksburg Commonwealth Attorney’s Office. Mark is currently working for the Jeanette Lipman Family Law Clinic at the University of Richmond.

Nicole Zettel : Associate

Ms. Nicole Zettel is a member of the University of Richmond School of Law Class of 2018. She graduated cum laude from Old Dominion University in 2015  with a B.S. in criminal justice and sociology. Ms. Zettel is a U.S. Navy veteran, having completed seven years active duty and two tours to Afghanistan. At Richmond, she serves as a Themis Bar Representative, is a member of the Veterans and Military Law Association, and participates in the Carrico Center No Fault Divorce Program. During summer 2016, she interned with the Rhode Island Supreme Court in the law clerk department. Ms. Zettel joined Global based on her interest in international business and foreign affairs.

Ellie Langroodi is a member of the University of Richmond School of Law Class of 2018. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Arlington with a B.S. in Economics and a minor in business administration. During the summer of 2016 she interned at a medium sized business, immigration, and family law firm in Dallas. Ellie is interested in pursuing a career in public interest.

Stuart Hamm : Associate

Mr. Stuart Hamm is a member of the University of Richmond School of Law's Class of 2018.  Mr. Hamm earned Bachelor's Degrees in Peace, War, and Defense, and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2015.  He also commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army through UNC-CH's Army ROTC program.   At Richmond, Mr. Hamm also serves as the Director of Programming for the Student Bar Association.  During the summer of 2015, he interned with the U.S. Army JAG Corps at Fort Carson, Colorado.  He hopes to pursue a career in the JAG Corps upon graduation.  His current interests include international law and government procurement.

Ms. Jennifer Peterson is a member of the University of Richmond School of Law Class of 2018.  Jenn graduated from the University of Richmond in 2014 with a B.A. in PPEL (Politics, Philosophy, Economics & Law).  At Richmond, Jenn serves as Client Counseling & Negotiation Board’s Intrascholastic Chair, and is also a Moot Court board member and Law School Admissions Representative.  During the summer of 2015, Jenn interned at the Office of the Attorney General, specifically in the Construction Litigation section.  Currently, Jenn is interested in Sports & Entertainment Law, as well as Employment Law.

Mr. Mario A. Mazzone is a member of the University of Richmond School of Law Class of 2018. Mr. Mazzone graduated from Universidad Monteavila (Caracas, Venezuela) in 2009 with a Bachelor of Sciences in Business and from EADA Business School (Barcelona, Spain) in 2011 with a Master in Marketing. Prior to law school, Mr. Mazzone worked in Supply Chain for mass consumption companies and during the summer of 2016, he served as an intern in the Chambers of the Honorable Robert Mark, Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of Florida. He joined Global based on his interest in International Commercial Arbitration and International Trade and Regulations.
